Session plan
Warm-up (10')
Regular stretching and warm up.
First half (5')
Trainer prepares the space where the activity will take place.
He divides the group into 2 teams and they will be standing in two single lines next to each other delimited with a cone and in front of them (15-20m) a square is marked by cones (4x4).
4 bibs of 2 different colors per team are distributed to the 4 players of each team/line.
The trainer explains the aim of the game: to place the 4 bibs as fast as possible next to each other in a single line (horizontally, vertically or diagonally).
Second half (10')
After the trainer gives the signal to start, one player per team will run and place their bib on any of the cones.
After, the player runs back to his line and claps the hand of the next player, who places then the second bib on one of the cones. This continues until one of the teams manages to place their 4 bibs next to each other in one single line.
Note:
- They can't place one bib over another.
- If after the 4th player from each team, the game is not over, the next player will go and will change the position of one of their bibs and the game continues like this until some team is able to place four bibs in a row.
- More rounds can be played
Cool-down (5')
Water break
Third half (10')
Teams gather together with the trainer who will have prepared some questions.
- What was difficult for you?
- Did you plan any tactic with your teammates?
- Was there any difference on how you played the first game and the last one?
- What was more important? To run or think fast?
- How was your communication between each other?
Notes
Teams should play at least 4-5 rounds of the game.
