About Festival 19

Festival 19 marks the first time that the football for good community will be brought together within the context of a FIFA Women’s World Cup. With its pioneering programme, the event will focus on gender equality and female empowerment through football. 40 delegations comprising 300 young disadvantaged young people will prove that the football for good community is engaged in obtaining equality for all. Festival 19 will take place this summer from 29th June to 8th July in Lyon, France, a city known for its passion for women’s football. Jointly organised by streetfootballworld and Sport Dans La Ville, Festival 19 will be hosted by the latter in its world class facilities.
