The number of organisations using football to drive social change has grown worldwide, creating new opportunities for collaboration. With this in mind, streetfootballworld joined forces with Adidas and FIFA to create the Adidas Exchange Programme in 2009 – a capacity development initiative that facilitates exchanges between those organisations that are interested in using football as a tool for good.

The programme consists of two main elements: a seminar that provides football coaches with an advanced train-the-trainer course, and a capacity development workshop that allows organisations to share best practices through peer-to-peer learning. Since 2010, more than 20 editions of the Football for Hope Adidas Exchange Programmes have been organised and executed by streetfootballworld in locations ranging from Ghana to Israel to Vietnam to Ecuador. These collaborative events have enabled participating organisations to adopt new methodologies and further develop their internal capacities.
