The world of Development through Sport reached a new international audience this week with the publication of a ten-page feature article entitled ‘Sports Saves The World’ in the September 26th edition of Sports Illustrated.

The article, in which Sports Illustrated senior writer Alexander Wolff documents his yearlong investigation into the world of Development through Sport, features five streetfootballworld network members – Grassroot Soccer, Spirit of Soccer, Mathare Youth Sports Association, Moving the Goalposts and Grupo Desportivo de Manica – as well as streetfootballworld itself.

streetfootballworld partners such as Beyond Sport and Laureus Sport for Good are also represented, as are several other remarkable organisations working around the world with a range of sports to effect positive social change.
