BASSAM

On July 12th, a reading of the play BASSAM will be hosted at the Theatro Technis Centre in London, England to benefit Bassam Aramin of streetfootballworld network member Al Quds Association for Democracy and Dialogue (AFDD). The play reveals the intriguing story of Bassam’s dedicated work for peace and justice for Palestinian and Israeli people. Written and directed by Idan Meir, the play retells the struggle and redemption of this Palestinian peace activist. Based on the story of the murder of Bassam’s nine-year-old daughter, BASSAM reveals how this horrific event strengthened his vision of a peaceful solution. A remarkable story
Since 1992, he has campaigned for a peaceful resolution to the Israel-Palestine conflict. Bassam is the president of Al-Quds Association for Democracy and Dialogue, which coordinates the “Twinned Peace Football Schools” programme with fellow streetfootballworld network member Peres Centre for Peace.
Another step towards peace
