How can football clubs, associations and organisations of all levels cooperate to strengthen positive social change through football? This will be the key issue at the Football for the Community Forum.

Representatives of European football leagues and associations, members of international relief and peace organisations and other socially engaged individuals from the fields of sport, politics, economy, science and media will meet in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland on July 30-31.

In workshops, lectures, movie presentations and discussions the attendees will analyse existing programmes and innovative approaches in the field of Development through Football and establish ways to coordinate individual activities more effectively.

streetfootballworld’s Managing Director, Jürgen Griesbeck, will be a keynote speaker, presenting the organisation’s approach of creating partnerships for development.

The forum’s aim is to launch a common initiative for innovative strategies and programmes. Communication amongst all actors will be structured in a network to facilitate closer and more regular cooperation.

The Scort Foundation
The Scort Foundation is a non-profit and politically independent foundation promoting activities in the field of education, social integration and international understanding through sport. In partnership with several European football clubs, it has established the Football Clubs for Development and Peace programme.
