On November 13th, sports teams from around the world will gather at Yankee Stadium for Beyond Sport United, a one-day event that recognises the potential of teams to create positive social change in their communities.

Many sports teams already use their status to implement social change initiatives, but rarely do they meet with one another to discuss their impact or to share knowledge and experience. This unique event at Yankee Stadium gives teams the opportunity to discuss how their assets can be harnessed to create positive social change in their home cities.

Beyond Sport promotes social development through the use of sport and has previously partnered with streetfootballworld to host Beyond Football, an event focused specifically on how football is used as a tool for social change. streetfootballworld will also be participating in discussions at Beyond Sport United this year.
