The Beyond Sport Summit, a unique event that celebrates, promotes and drives forward social change, will take place from September 29-30 in Chicago, USA.
The event will connect organisations that use sport as a vehicle to create social impact with influential actors and decision-makers from the world of business, governments and federations from around the world.
Influential and inspirational speakers at the event include: HRH Prince Faisal Al Hussein of Jordan; Russlynn H. Ali, Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, US Department of Education; Dr. Auma Obama, Technical Advisor, CARE International and Lucas Radebe, former South Africa national football team captain.

The summit also incorporates the announcement of the Beyond Sport Awards 2010 winners, celebrating the world’s best sport-led social innovation projects, for which streetfootballworld network members Kick4Life and America Scores have been shortlisted.
In addition, streetfootballworld itself will be present at the event, leading two workshops on the theme of partnerships and support. The first workshop, entitled ‘Taking advantage of major sporting events and their legacy schemes’, will be presented with the England 2018 bid team. The second, ‘Designing impactful multi-sector partnerships’, will be jointly led by Urban Soccer Collaborative Director and CEO Tony Williams, streetfootballworld Head of Network Operations Christophe Mailliet and the US Soccer Foundation.
