Each spring, streetfootballworld network member America SCORES
celebrates the achievements of its students from across the United States of
America with a National Poetry Slam!.
Two America SCORES student-poets from each of the organisation’s 15 affiliate cities will be selected from a total of 6000 America SCORES kids to receive the honour of performing their original poetry for a live audience in New York.The event is hosted by the New York Stock Exchange. Sometimes when I’m on the
field,
I feel like I have wings on my back. As soon as I hear the whistle,
I am ready to attack.

America SCORES The 14 AS affiliate programmes – each with its own staff, governed by a local board of directors – employ in total approximately 100 full-time staff members, hire 600 football and literacy coaches to work daily with the young participants and engage thousands of volunteers nationwide.
