We are delighted to announce the launch this month of the new 'Ultimate Peace in the Middle East' program.  This new coexistence sport program will cater to Palestinian and Israeli girls and boys between the ages of 13 and 16. 

The program will harness the power of the fastest growing sport in the world - Ultimate Frisbee – to bring children from the two sides together.  Partnering with the Ultimate Peace organisation, the Peres Center will use the new sport as a tool to foster values of sportsmanship, communication and dispute resolution in the Israeli communities of Sderot, Be'er Tuvya, Kiryat Malachi and Kiryat Gat, the Palestinian communities of Jericho, Tulkarem and Beit Sahour and the Arab-Israeli community of Ein Rafa. 

More elements of the program are being developed, including a coexistence Ultimate Peace Camp which will take place in July 2010. We are honoured to partner with the Ultimate Peace organisation towards this initiative.
