For the first time the 'Next Generation Initiative: Med Sisters Cross Border Cruise' set sail on October 16th seeking to forge meaningful educational collaboration and intercultural dialogue between Israeli and Palestinian female high-school students (aged 12-15) through peacebuilding and leadership training.  The expedition boat sailed along the Greek Coast enabling the participants from the Palestinian towns of Jericho, Beit Sahour, Beit Safafa and Ein Rafa and the Israeli towns of Kiryat Gat, Yerucham, Be'er Tuvia, Merchavim and Sderot to visit the historical Greek sites of Delphi,Athens, Olympia, Mycenae and Epidaurous.

In collaboration with Hellenic Aid and the Al Quids Association for Democracy and Dialogue and led by educators from Team Time Challenge, the five-day site-seeing and peacebuilding cruise ended on 20th October 2008 after advancing sustainable dialogue, coexistence and capactiy building.  This initiative succeeded in creating new and strengthening existing relationships between the young participants, giving them an experience to last a lifetime.
