Launch of the Sport Department's new inter-language learning program.  This unique component will allow the youngsters to learn the other sides' language and greatly advance their opportunities to build connections and friendships with one another.

Youth from Sderot and Beit Shemesh were the first to take part in dynamic Arabic lessons and this exciting initiative is now being offered to all of the participated communities within the "Twinned Peace Sport Schools" program, as part of a concerted effort to answer the needs of the youth - all of whom wish to learn their counterpart's language - and in order to encourage more practical dialogue between the youth during joint activities. 

This initiative contributes greatly to the academic development of the youth and answers a need which is unfortunately not addressed in school - the need to understand the language of the 'other side'.  Hebrew lessons will also begin next month for youngsters in the Palestinian communtiies who participate in the "Twinned Peace Football Schools" program.
