23rd April 2009, 4pm - Kiriyat Gat Municipal Stadium The Peres Center for Peace and the Al Quds Association for Democracy and Dialogue are delighted to invite you to the 2009 Palestinian-Israeli Mini World Cup.

A mixed team of Palestinian and Israeli youth will represent a country from around the world in this friendly competition! Come to the final to support the youngsters who will demonstrate their exceptional soccer skills and teamwork.

The Mini World Cup Final 2009 is the highlight of the "Twinned Peace Sport Schools" program uniting 1,500 Palestinian and Israeli youngsters aged 6 - 13 through an extra curricular framework of sport training, Peace Education, Inter-language Learning and joint sporting and social activities.

This event, which is hosted by the southern community of Kiryat Gat, will display the success of this ongoing peace-building project which continues to attract young Palestinians and Israelis who believe wholeheartedly in coming together to build a better future. Following the recent military conflict in Gaza your support is more important than ever.
