From 12th to the 17th of September the 2nd exchange week between KICKFAIR, the Peres Center for Peace (Israel) and the Al Quds Association for Democracy (Palestine) took place. The contents of this week were the direct follow up of the the first exchange week which took place in June/July at KICKFAIR in Germany.

The first exchange week focused on the introduction of streetfootball as a tool for education, peace building and the development of youth leadership. In the second exchange week these contents are going to be deepened and excercised on a practical level. Marcel Mauz (20 years), Michaela Paldauf (25 Jahre) and Helga Höhn (24 Jahre), all three of them experienced Youth Leaders in the projects of KICKFAIR will realize these workshops.?„ I am very excited. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone again and to continue with our common work“, says Marcel. And Helga adds: „I have never been to Israel or Palestine“ I am really curious what I can learn and take with me“.

The international exchange is beeing funded by the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, The Federal German Ministry of the Interior and adidas.
