PLAY SOCCER is present in countries across Africa, with headquarters in the U.S.A. Its goal is sustainable grassroots development through sport. PLAY SOCCER’s curriculum teaches health, life skills and football, and begins with young children to encourage early childhood development and lifelong learning. Local young people are trained as volunteer instructors, building not only their skills, but also volunteerism and community service. The programme is open to all, and geared to the most disadvantaged communities.

PLAY SOCCER also provides leadership for the annual Global Peace Games for Children and Youth and collaborates on other activities to encourage cultural understanding, global friendship and gender equality.
