In its programmes, KICKFAIR e.V. connects football with global learning and development cooperation policy. All projects are based on the “Street Football for Tolerance” methodology, used by various organisations within the streetfootballworld network (also known as “Fútbol Callejero” or “Football for Peace”). “Street Football for Tolerance” tries to tap the full potential of football by applying special rules and rituals to the game, thereby creating learning experiences in which young people can develop skills to help them overcome obstacles in daily life.
Bi- and multinational learning partnerships are a special focus of KICKFAIR’s work. By involving the young participants in all processes of the organisation and the further development of the projects, youths are encouraged to take initiative in developing their own social skills for the future. KICKFAIR cooperates closely with streetfootballworld in the framework of the projects “Football & Global Learning” and the “German Street Football Network”.
