Over the past few years GDM and Arsenal in the Community showed how international cooperation can positively impact young lives. The key to the success according to GDM Director Felipe Chigueda is trust: "We now know each other, we know that Arsenal will send us good people who are hard working and humble, we are now friends."

GDM is a regular site where young coaches called Gappers do practical work. Naturally in Manica they do more than coaching football; also playing chess, teaching life-skills, teaching English, learning Portuguese and planting trees! 

This month Arsenal sent 50 footballs to GDM ensuring that boys and girls of all ages can have good technical training sessions.
