Football United is one of only thirty-two teams invited to participate in the 2010 Football for Hope Festival, an official event of the FIFAWorld Cup™. This event is a highlight of the Football for Hope Movement and a celebration of the power of football and the positive impact it has on community development. 

Football United's invitation is generating much media interest in Australia, with coverage on ABC, the national broadcaster.
