STRONG YOUTH STRONG AFRICA FESTIVAL-RWANDA

After two months of Peace Caravan Amani in many countries of Europe and Africa which have started on 17th March 2010 from Berlin to take the end in Kigali on 30th April 2010; ESPERANCE in partnershiip with YDF (Youth Development through Football) and GTZ(International cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with worldwide operations) has organised a festival from 29th April to 2nd May 2010; a festival has a theme on cultural diversity and unity in Africa which will focussed on different objectives like promoting culture diversity, celebrate the African World Cup 2010 and to create an attractive platform for involved partners, politician and media.
As well as Kimisagara Youth Center is located in the middle of heavily populated area and as the ESPERANCE's office is placed in this center; all the events will be held in that center and on the guest line-up there will be the Rwandan Minister of Sport and Culture, the Mayor of Kigali City, GTZ/DED (Germany Development Service) officials, officials from Rwanda Football Federation, Kimisagara Sector Executive Secretary, Etc About 30 international participants from Burundi, DR Congo, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania are expected to attend the Festival on top of 60 local participants and the representative from Ghana and the YDF touring team. The festival will start with the press conference on the 30th at 4h 00pm. The event is expected to be a bright and excellent Festival bringing youth from West Africa, the great lakes Region and South Africa together and give them an opportunity to share experiences, good practices and challenges while celebrating 2010 World Cup in Africa.
