Based in General Rodriguez in Northern Buenos Aires, Club 25 de Mayo aims at strengthening neighbourhoods and marginalised sectors through non-formal educational activities. Since 2005 the Club utilises the “Fútbol Callejero” (Street Football) methodology as an instrument of social transformation. Through football, the organisation creates spaces where the young participants can practise their leadership and conflict resolution skills.
It promotes inclusion and social integration, brings together families and neighbours and facilitates moments for the exchange of opinions and knowledge in order to positively transform the community. The Club forms part of the Argentinean “Liga Nacional de Fútbol Callejera” (National Street Football League) and is responsible for the promotion of the League in Nothern Buenos Aires
