BCSA and the German Embassy in Lusaka held the 6th friendship event and this year's event was special after the Japan Embassy showed interest in participating in the event. The event was sponsored by GIZ, the German Embassy and the Japanese Embassy. More than 10 teams participated in the event with more than 200 children benefiting from the GIZ Youth Development through Football water and sanitation education programme.
The event for the first time included Paralympics athletes who played clutche football. Clutch football in Zambia is very new and it was very interesting for young people to see how Paralympic sport is played.
GIZ country Director was excited to partner with BCSA and to hold such an important event for young people. BCSA was recommended by GIZ for holding a successful event.
