Rocket City United technical director and former US National Team captain Desmond Armstrong conducted football coaching clinics for Zambia StreetFootball Network coaches on the 3rd of February, 2010. 15 coaches attended and received top class youth football development knowledge. Coach Noah from Kalingalinga township expressed satisfaction in the new training methods highlighted by Desmond.

Breakthrough Sports Academy and Desmond's Heroes FC, a youth development program, have in the past worked on different projects which focused on providing opportunities for young Zambians to attend football scholarships at Brad Friedel's Premier Soccer Academies in Cleveland. We are excited about the growing partnership which will benefit Zambia StreetFootball Network members who have been working hard to improve the development of football in Zambia. Grassroot Soccer has been the perfect partner in youth development and we look forward to an enhanced partnership between Desmond, BSA and Grassroot Soccer.
