Since 1995, Asociación Grupo Cre-Arte has provided a variety of non-formal educational opportunities to people with disabilities. In their Educational and Cultural Center they organise courses in visual and performing arts as well as vocational courses on computers and activities in gardening and textile production. Their vision is to support the development of an inclusive world, where people with disabilities can enjoy dignified levels of housing, work, health and education.
In 2005, Cre-Arte adopted the “Fútbol Callejero” methodology as a means for social integration. Together with other community orientated organisations they organise street football events, workshops and courses for young leaders in different neighbourhoods. Cre-Arte forms part of the Argentinean “Liga Nacional de Fútbol Callejera” (National Street Football League) and is responsible for the promotion of the League in the Patagonia region.
