Kalim Sports Council (KSC) llegó a la vida en el 2005 cuando un grupo de comprometidos entrenadores de Kalingalinga y Mtendere se reunieron con la visión de educar a los jóvenes, principalmente sobre el VIH/SIDA, a través de actividades deportivas. La organización cree en la capacidad del fútbol como herramienta de movilización para crear conciencia sobre VIH/SIDA.
KSC también se esfuerza en guiar y convertir a los jóvenes en líderes comunitarios comprometidos y motivados. Desde su concepción, más de 6000 niños se han beneficiado de sus actividades deportivas diarias, que incluyen 18 equipos diferentes de la zona y los alrededores.
