Fundraising is one of the most important parts of running an organisation; the amount of funds an organisation has or can get has a huge impact on its ability to run effective programmes.
In order to achieve longer-term financial stability, organisations can find funding from four main types of sources: governments, private funders (e.g. foundations and corporations), individual donors and earned income/social entrepreneurship.
