Discrimination + Tolerance
Being aware of discrimination and racism in society is always important, especially considering growing support for nationalist parties in Europe.

On the Pitch
Football3 Against Xenophobia
When refugees first join our trainings, many of our participants and their families get “scared” and have strong stereotypes against refugees/migrants even though the majority of our disadvantaged participants of Roma origin are also a target of stereotypes from mainstream society. Our “old” and “new” (refugee) players will play together at training session and tournaments and we would like to develop acceptance and tolerance of old players and support the inclusion of new players.
On the Pitch
Reversed Contest
This particular activity can be used as an ice-breaker game as well as a warm-up activity for the players. The aim is to learn to find way how the involve everyone in the game and to strengthen the sense of belonging in every member of the team.
On the Pitch
Small Ones and Big Ones
It is very typical, especially in our target group of disadvantaged children and youth that everyone only wants to win and they do not pay attention to younger players. Victory has such a high value in our target group as they do not have much success in other fields of life. This ‘wanting to win so much’ often results in aggression, harassment, verbal or physical violence during playing football.
On the Pitch
The 3 Roles
Address how people feel when they are a minority or excluded.
