Football for Hope Forum 2009

For the first time ever, outstanding practitioners and other key players from the field of Development through Football got together to discuss the future paths of the sector. In the framework of the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup in South Africa, representatives from streetfootballworld network member organisations and organisations involved in Football for Hope, as well as selected experts from the scientific and corporate sectors, met for three days of discussion and networking.

The Football for Hope Forum 2009 was a major milestone for streetfootballworld and for Football for Hope. The positive feedback from the participants highlighted the importance of these kinds of events for the future development of the field. In this section you can find news articles on the Football for Hope Forum 2009 as well as additional material that offers a glimpse into what was discussed by the more than 120 participants in Vanderbiljpark.
