A laboratory for Development through Football
The central task in streetfootballworld’s project development stream is creating new approaches and building on existing methods in the field of Development through Football. The projects are implemented in partnership with other organisations, often members of the streetfootballworld Network, that are experts in the field.

EUROSCHOOLS 2008

What is the smallest country in Europe? Where exactly is Uppsala? And why do 26 ethnic groups call Georgia home? As part of the international EUROSCHOOLS 2008 project, pupils from schools in Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein were set to become experts on Europe.  For an entire year, they were ambassadors for the 53 UEFA countries and of fair play, both on and off the pitch.   Read more

Football and Global Learning

Football and Global Learning is a German-wide project in schools that uses the enthusiasm of children and youth for football to introduce them to other countries in relation to their own social environment.

In the project, participating schools establish partnerships with organisations in other countries to initiate joint learning processes. Many schools have already established contact through the World Cup Schools – Fair Play for Fair Life project and are now strengthening their partnerships.    Read more


German Street Football Network

streetfootballworld develops and coordinates the German Street Football Network in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) and the German Youth Football Foundation. The network brings together organisations from Germany that successfully use football as an instrument for social work and the integration of young people.   Read more
